Family Worship Center School of Music || Web & Branding Project
I was hired as a Brand and Website Designer for my church’s new music school – Family Worship Center School of Music. We wanted the music school to resemble the church’s current branding, but also be a separate entity.
The goal of this project was to create a branding experience and website design so people could find out about the music school and sign up for lessons quickly and easily.
The design of the website is modern and simple, it’s designed to have all of the important information and even a sign up form directly on the home page to make it easy to gather information and sign up.
Logo Creation & Development
I wanted the logo to be easily recognizable while also tying it into the church’s main logo and branding. The goal was to make this stand out but also let people know that this was still an extension of the church itself. That being said, I took elements from the main logo – the outer circle – and made sure it fit with the logo design. The logo represents a music note to symbolize that the students of the school will be learning how to read sheet music throughout most of their schooling.
When creating the logo I used a grid to ensure pixel perfect creation. I made sure to use thick enough line work so that when displayed on mobile screens it would still be easy to see and stands out. I went on to make sure the text “Family Worship Center School of Music” was created in a professionally made font that fit the target audience of the music school.
