Design
The app was designed based on material design to give it a modern, but easy to understand appeal. I chose to do a card-style experience so people could easily see pictures of rooms or items.

Evoke is a phone application that allows the user record the various locations that they put down their every day items (such as cell phones, keys, sunglasses, etc.) when they get home, go somewhere new, or leave from a place they frequent, and gives notifications to remind users to record where they put their items or whether they picked them up. This application works best when used with separately purchased RFID stickers/keychains that they can attach to their items, if they ever forget something the app can remind them what they’ve forgotten and where it is.

This brings up the menu navigation window. Users can edit their personal information, manage items and places, and app-specific settings.
This is the users most frequent or currently selected place where they can add or remove items. Changing locations is as easy as swiping left or right, or long pressing on the screen to bring up a list of all places.
This is an item the user has placed in this particular room, tapping on it allows you to access the options of that item, such as: taking it out of the room or marking it as missing.
Tapping on this bring up a menu of actions allowing you to: add items to the currently selected room, add new items or add a new location.
